Looking fashionable, wearing a multitude of designer brands, and dressing to impress has been a growing and sustaining cultural interest in countries like Brazil, Russia, India and China, as well as other countries like Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Indonesia, Egypt, Angola, Bangladesh, Mexico, Columbia, Poland, Turkey and South Africa.  GCC countries, such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain, have long adopted the notion of dressing only in brands.  It’s not uncommon that you will see someone wearing Louis Vuitton or Chanel handbags, with Hermes or Dolce & Gabanna belts, paired with Christian Louboutin or Gucci shoes, and Roberto Cavali or Armani clothing. Michelle T. Sterling, founder of the Sterling Style Academy and Global Image Group, has offered her unique, global perspective of personal styling to an elite group of more than 350 personal shopping students from 40 different countries.  Ms. Sterling achieved her AICI Image Consultant Certification in 2003 (the first year it was offered) after working with executive and affluent personal shopping clients since 2000.   In 2000, she founded the Global Image Group, which today has a team of a dozen image consultants working with clients in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, South America, and Japan.
