If you\u2019re from the United States or anywhere else in the world, the best place to buy luxury brands is in Europe.<\/strong> It\u2019s best to buy luxury brands in Milan, Paris or London because you get the tax back which usually equates to anywhere from 11 to 15% depending on which country you purchase the goods from.<\/p>\n

We love going to Millan for Italian or even French luxury brands and typically we start at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, then head to the fashion quarter known as Quadrilatero Della Moda where we go down several streets, such as Via Montenapoleone, Via Della Spiga, and Via Sant\u2019 Andrea, to find these luxury brand stores.<\/p>\n

Just be careful when you\u2019re shopping in Milan as there\u2019s a high likelihood that you\u2019ll get pickpocketed or robbed. Hang on to your handbag. Don\u2019t put it down on any chairs especially while you\u2019re trying on shoes. And don\u2019t just assume that because you\u2019re in a high-end luxury store with security, they\u2019ll be able to protect you from a thief.

Apart from shopping in central Milan next to the Piazza del Duomo like at La Rinascente, we recommend checking out Porta Nuova and Corso Como.\u00a0The street offers more of an eclectic variety of brands and boutiques for the person who doesn\u2019t like the mainstream high-end brands such as Louis Vuitton, YSL, Gucci, Chanel, and Dior.\u00a0 Or you can check out Via Madonnina in Brera which is close to Duomo.\u00a0 For high street shopping check out Corso Buenos Aires and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.\u00a0DMAG has designer outlets within Milan so that you don\u2019t need to leave the Milan city limits.<\/p>\n
