The Sterling Style Academy's online image consultant
training course is a self-paced, intense educational
experience that can be completed anytime, anyplace,
and anywhere in the world - at your office,
in your own home, or at an internet café
as long as you have a computer with an Internet
connection. We recognize that many are not able
to take four weeks off to attend our in-class
image consultant training programs. Therefore
our online certification program provides the
flexibility you need to complete the course
usually within a three to six month time frame
as your schedule permits.
At the Sterling Style Academy, we provide a
virtual classroom environment through our password-protected
eLearning site where students are able to review
the learning modules, learn with interactive
exercises, receive assignments, complete exams,
communicate with an instructor and classmates,
and access our tech support via email.
Our online image consultant training program
is designed to model the material taught during
the in-class Image Consultant 1.1, 2.1, and
3.1 Courses by learning module and there are
no pre-requisites required to take this program.
You will not be eligible for Image Consultant
Course 5.1 if you take this program.

HOW
IT WORKS
Upon completion of registration
for the online course, you will receive
a welcome package via email complete with an
outline of the online course agenda and syllabus
as well as access to your first learning module.
At the end of each learning module, you will
need to complete the review questions, interactive
exercises, or an individual project at your
own pace and submit it preferably via email
or fax to the Academy. Once your work has been
reviewed and upon successful completion, you
will be granted access to the next learning
module. Upon completion of all the learning
modules, you will be required to complete a
final exam and final project in order to receive
Sterling Style Academy image consultant certification.
The final exam and project will review and encompass
everything you have learned and will be presented
to an instructor via a 2.5-hour telephone conference
call at which time you will also be able to
address any further questions you have about
the material, the industry and starting your
own company. Internet access and accessibility
to Microsoft programs and a computer during
this telephone conference call will be necessary.
Our
eLearning program does not currently provide
audio capabilities, however the course is designed
to be conversationally written and interactive.
Students are recommended to post comments onto
the discussion board to engage each other in
the learning process, provide feedback, and
post their candid opinions.
Our
course and message board are monitored by knowledgeable
industry expert instructors who teach this course
in the classroom. Instructors are virtually
available via email and the message board throughout
your eLearning experience to provide you with
answers to your questions.
TECHNICAL
REQUIREMENTS
We
recommend having a computer at home or at your
office with a high-speed connection, being proficient
in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, as well as
internet savvy with a basic understanding of
how to use a PC, navigate the World Wide Web,
and download email and web attachments. You
are required to have an active email account
upon registration for the online image consultant
course and we recommend that you check your
account daily for messages from your instructor
and classmates.
