The Sterling Style Academy has been known to attract a large international student body who travel from all over the world to attend our image consultant training programs. In an effort to accommodate the jet-setting lifestyle of our world traveling student body, we have devised a dual-city training program suited to meet their needs known as The World Traveler Program TM.

The World Traveler Program TM is a 2.5-week image consultant training certification course that takes place in 2 cities to enable our student body to become true worldwide image consultants. Session I of the program will take place in either Sydney or London, where you will learn the elements and principles of design in relation to personal styling and wardrobe evaluation. Session II of the program will take place in either Hong Kong or New York, where you hone your personal shopping skills and learn how to develop a global image consultancy.

The World Traveler Program will be offered in the eastern hemisphere, commencing with Session I in Sydney and concluding with Session II in Hong Kong, and in the western hemisphere, commencing with Session I in London and concluding with Session II in New York. You may take this course according to their respective hemispheres or ‘mix and match’ them to suit your globe-trotting lifestyle, career, or budget needs by starting with Session I in Sydney and completing Session II in New York, or starting with Session I in London and completing Session II in Hong Kong. A certificate will be granted upon successful completion of Session I and II within a one or two year timeframe, as your schedule permits.

The 2.5-Week World Traveler Program TM is an intensive and accelerated program designed to meet the global learning needs of working professionals and fashion savvy individuals worldwide.

In Session I of the World Traveler Program in Sydney or London, you will learn the following:

• Introduction to style – How do we define and refine it?
• How to analyse fashion, incorporate trends, and develop style
• The elements and principles of design as it pertains to style
• How to assess facial features and body types to create suitable wardrobes for your client
• How to incorporate these elements into analysing an individual’s personal style and colouring
• How to develop a look specific to your client’s personal style and colouring
• The elements and importance of wardrobe evaluation
• How to conduct personal style and closet evaluations
• The principles behind closet organisation and clothing care

In Session II of the World Traveler Program TM in Hong Kong or New York you will experience:

• A day in the life of an image consultant
• Effective shopping strategies and protocol
• Determining your target market and develop your marketing plan
• The essential elements of effective communication skills and its non-verbal impact
• How to utilise these elements to improve your corporate presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• How to develop your client’s image to improve their overall presence
