The Sterling Style Academy offers a 4-Step Online Personal Shopping + Online Personal Styling service for men and women to help you obtain the wardrobe you desire.
The Online Personal Shopper service begins with Step 1 + 2.
Step 1 – THE VIRTUAL VISIT
During your visit with our online personal shopper, the shopper will do the following for you:
- Conduct an online virtual consultation to consider your needs, goals and objectives for your online personal shopper session
- Assess your personal coloring so that she chooses the right neutral colors and accent colors to build your wardrobe
- Determine what your fashion style personality is so that she can select the correct clothing styles, items + silhouettes to develop your outfits
Step 2 – THE SHOP
Then our online personal shopper will commence the online personal shopping session for you by selecting all the items on your wish list from various websites that suit your fashion style personality and your clothing values + preferences. By the end of the online personal shopping session, we will email you access to your own custom curated personal shopping portal featuring a minimum of 15 – 20 items that mix and match to purchase upon receipt of the email or as your budget permits. All you will have to do is select your size and place the order on the website. It’s shopping made simple!
Step 1 will take approximately 45 minutes to complete, therefore please allot the appropriate amount of time in your schedule for this online personal shopping session.

Once you receive all the items that you’ve ordered from the online personal shopping session, we recommend scheduling an Online Personal Styling Session with Step 3 + 4.
Step 3– THE STYLING
During your styling session with our online personal stylist, the stylist will:
- Show you how to put all the items that she selected for you into outfits
- Demonstrate how to mix + match the items to create multiple outfits
- And help you accessorize the outfits into looks that are unique to you
- This is an active session where you will be trying on all the items selected for you during your online personal shopper session in order for you to determine what you should keep and what you should return and how to put it together.
Step 4– THE SELFIES
During the styling session, our online personal stylist will then recommend you to take selfies of your best looks so that you know how to put together these outfits for yourself in the future.
Step 3 and 4 will take approximately 2 hours to complete for US$197, therefore please allot the appropriate amount of time in your schedule for this online personal styling session.

How It Works & Technical Requirements
- Once you’ve booked either an Online Personal Shopping session and/or an Online Personal Stylist session, please email us to set up the date and time of your video Skype consultation
- We will send you a needs assessment form to fill out and send back to us
- We will meet you on Skype on your scheduled consultation date
- We will send you an online Skype meeting link if you do not already have a Skype account
- A laptop or tablet with a webcam and the ability to prop up the tablet is necessary during the session

Virtual Image Consultation
What is an Image Consultant?
An image consultant’s role is to advise you on the image that you project and the first impression that you make. Evaluations are based on the scientific and artistic aspects of style that only highly skilled and well-educated image consultants are able to execute.
What a Virtual Image Consultation can do for you?
During a Virtual Image Consultation, we will ask you to email us 3 photos of yourself in a variety of outfits and situations and we will 1) email you back with the image that you project and 2) give you constructive tips on how you can improve the image you project during these various situations. To the right is a representational example of the type of assessment we will provide you, however the assessment that you will receive will be more robust and explain the reasons why you project a certain image for each individual photo as compared to this sample.
